After Arthur left, the two women headed back to the house, on their way Luna asked Anna to drop by the Pretoria bank where they were to meet Nate who was going to safe keep the evidence.
They stayed in the car and watched him cross the road in the bid to approach their car. A motorcyclist that was riding by suddenly took out a short pistol and shot at Nate upclose.
Letting out a loud shrill, Luna watched as Nate fell to the ground. She made an effort to run to him but failed because Anna was holding her back.
"You cannot go there, what if whoever was following him sees you with him. You'll just put yourself in danger." Anna pleaded with her to see reason.
Luna who was in an inconsolable state, suddenly collapsed in her friend's arms. Without thinking, Anna drove off to King's hospital.
Dr. Saunders was already waiting when Anna arrived at the hospital, once the car came to a halt, Luna was whisked away to the emergency room.
