Breathing rapidly, Logan crossed his fingers and lowered his eyes to his shoes praying and hoping that his mistress lies for him. Although he had given her his reasons for doing what he did, the accused man wasn't certain that she had his back for sure. Letting out a huge exhalation of pent-up breath, he stared at her adoringly when he heard her lie through her teeth without batting an eye.
