Chapter 7 - 007. Ariel's spirit

She was yet to get used to this new version of Logan, in her past her husband was the shy type if anything his manhood never erected without assistance.

She always had to fondle and sensually massage it with oils for it to erect and when it did, it was never as strong as the one she was getting now.

'What is it about this girl that turns him on? Was it the long white hair? That she was a young woman dotting on him? or that she had super abilities that benefited him.

"Are you not up for it?" The hoarse voice snapped her back to her senses.

He was standing behind her with his dick playfully poking her round butt.

"Ofcourse Iam" She couldn't resist his advances besides if she wanted to hook him, sex was one of the weapons that she had at her disposal.

"Magic, slightly bend over." He gently ordered pulling her lace knicker down and patting her long legs.

Gently he massaged her warm wet pussy and then deeply inserted his hard stick inside her, she with moaned from both the pain and the pleasure as he took her to the promised land.

She served him the meal after the third round of sex that happened to be in the bathroom.

This form of Logan was virile and powerful and she was here for it. They could go seven rounds and still do it in the morning before he left.

"I like this new version of you, magic." He spoke with a mouth half full.

She almost chocked on the water that she was sipping on while watching him devour the meal."What do you mean?" There was no way he had caught up to her.

"Before you lost you're memory, I had to plead to spend the night with you, and cooking was never your forte." His eyes were smiling with untold reverence

"I guess it's a good fortune that I've lost it since it appears to many that I've become a better human altogether."

He took a deep breath and gazed at her with admiration "This food is incredible, delicious in every sense of the word. I've not eaten food like this since...." He paused and gently dropped the burger on the plate.

Luna knew exactly why his face was contorted with remorse, Logan loved her cooking he always praised her. "Since what? You know you can talk to me about anything "

His eyes were expressing loss and pity "since my wife died." Logan raised his trembling lips

Luna's heart arched for him she went to him and hugged him, she lifted his head and looked deep into his eyes before asking "You must have loved her for you to loose you're appetite just by thinking of her."

"I did." His answer was short and precise

Atleast he was telling the truth his eyes remained black, she let out a pronounced sigh of relief as she returned to her seat.

"You can be at peace now because she is too." Luna assured him while further letting him know that her abilities were back and she could communicate with spirits again.

He pondered. "Her spirit doesn't seek vengence?"

Her closed eyes flew open and critically studied the wrinkles on his forehead.

She was sure his question was based on the fact that he had jumped into another marriage almost immediately after her death but she didn't blame him for the that because she was sure he had been manipulated by Megan.

"She left all her pain in the hands of karma, she's at peace."she wanted him to let go of the guilt afterall she wasn't actually dead.

After a few seconds of silence Luna believed that now was the perfect moment to ask about her baby.

"There is something that she would like to know though. " She spoke with a far away look that Logan found to be eerie and creepy.

He jumped from his chair like he had been scaled by hot water.

"S..sh..she's h..here?" He stammered and stumbled over his words.

Nodding to confirm his suspensions Luna advised him to answer his dead wife's question if he wanted her gone.

"She would like to know how her baby is doing?" Luna lied through her teeth. He was the only one that could give her any news about her child.

He darted his head in fear, praying that she wasn't close to him, his expression had Luna struggling to strangle her laughter.

"Just look at me and calm down." The smile on her lips grew wider.

"The baby is good, we've been doing the routine checkups with the doctor. Everything is perfectly ok." Logan's voice trembled as he told her

Luna leaned on the backrest of the chair 'some good news atlast'

Although she believed that if Megan was capable of killing her, there could be a possibility that she could harm the baby she was carrying too.

'What if she harms herself or aborts the baby just to get rid of anything that reminded her of me?' She shook her head quickly to dispel the horrible thoughts from her head.

'I need to find a way of keeping an eye on her but how am I going to do that?' She chewed on her perfectly manicured nails.

Logan was sweating like he was in a sauna which made Luna wonder, 'If he had been so afraid of spirits why was he having an affair with a psychic or was he afraid of just his dead wife's spirit' She couldn't place her finger on it.

"You seem completely out of it. Are you that afraid of spirits but am sure you know that I can see people on the other side." She looked into his jet black pupils.

He shuddered and wore his navy blue coat that was resting on the sofa armrest.

"Am not afraid of them but this particular one gives me the chills." He licked his dry lips and wiped a hand over his pale face.

She had talked to alot of people overtime but her husband was the one person that had been truthful throughout and Nathan too.

As for Don, the supposed controller of Euphoria had lied when she asked if he knew where her Secretary was.

'Atleast I have one honest person in my corner.'

"There is something that's been bugging me? Why would anyone want me dead? Do you know of anyone that had a grudge against me? Or did I perhaps say something to you?" Luna asked with wide eyed anticipation that turned into sad disappointment when he informed her that he had no idea.

"I was shocked as well when I heard about what had happened to you, Maybe it's someone that's jealous of your wealth and fame." Logan turned his head down to avoid her gaze

That made a whole lot of sense however she couldn't seem to shake off the fear at the back of her mind that at one point someone she couldn't recognize would stab her out of the blue.

'The least they could have done was give me alittle of that memory' She quivered at the thought of dying again.

"How come you couldn't predict your own death?" He looked at her suspiciously.

To cut out his mistrust and suspension she answered shamelessly "Am a psychic not a god!" Luna used her hands to express her frustration.

Nodding his head in agreement he kissed her goodbye and promised to be in touch.
