"I'm not doing anything. Doesn't it also surprise you that she survived without any powers? One can only conclude that she is hiding something," Bianca mentioned, explaining to Blake.
"It's her business and her choice. Don't be causing trouble on the first day of school," Blake glared at her.
"I'm not causing trouble. I'm just as curious as everyone else,"
"So what were you going to do? Force her if she refuses to say, right? Because it didn't seem like you were going to be kind or gentle,"
Bianca opened her mouth to say something, then she shut it back instantly. Her lips worked, and her facial muscles clenched before she rolled her eyes arrogantly and walked away.
Aaliyah simply took her books and stood up to leave. Her mind was already occupied with something else, and it slipped her mind that Blake was still watching and waiting for her to say something.
