Aaliyah has never heard birds chirping outside in the morning, but that morning was so different than any other. The lively animal noises she heard coming from the window had a small smile stretching her lips as her long lashes fluttered upon the sunlight streaming in through the window.
The weight on her body had her looking down at the man who had his eyes closed with his head lying on her chest. It was the first time she was waking up and he was still by her side, and it felt pleasant and heartwarming to still see him here.
Now that she thought about it, it was also the first time she was watching him sleep.
He looked so peaceful with his eyes closed, although his face was still a bit stressed. Gently, she tucked a bit of his hair away to get a better look at his stunning features. And as usual, he stole her breath away.
