Its a quiet and peaceful night in the Pine Grove Forest, the crickets singing their song of the night. But this peaceful ambience was disturbed by a terrified scream from a young man.
"S***, S***, S***!!!" Luke screamed in his thoughts. He was going home from a tiring day at school but was abruptly attacked by a shadowy but human figure. He couldn't clearly see clearly but he knew it wasn't human. He suddenly tripped and the shadow being chasing him caught up and he could finally see its horrifying appearance. It had a tall bony figure with long arms ending in razor sharp claws. Its skin was black and hairless smooth as babies bottom from the looks. It had a menacing human like face with sharp teeth and red eyes long ears and 2 holes as to what he assumed it breathed out of. Luke was scared, who wouldn't be in his situation?! The being starting tearing at his flesh with its claws and teeth. It hurt. It hurt so much he starting releasing blood curdling screams which seemed to annoy his killer, as it cut his throat open
Then suddenly a black/green screen popped up in front of his face. He didn't know how he was alive but he couldn't feel the pain of the monster tearing at his flesh anymore which felt like relief to him.
"Would you like to become a player? If you decline, you will die due to blood loss and other factors. But if you accept you will live = Y/N?" It read.
It didn't specify how he would live but he didn't care, his natural choice was obviously yes as he didn't want to die yet.
