"She's still in there then?" Ju'Shal called out as she approached the church.
Sitting on the steps we're Drevid and Stoll. Apparently, their Savior had asked that no one enter the church, spending the night in the building and causing strange lights to form in the windows. Though everyone was curious, no one dared to disrupt their Savior out of both fear and respect. Sitting next to Stoll was Shiva, who's front was drenched in blood and dirt. Luckily, the others had finally managed to calm her down, but those silent tears would still occasionally run down her dirty cheeks and maw.
"Nix seems to be in preparation. I fear she intends on facing the Legion herself." Drevid sighed softly as he shook his head.
Much like everyone else, it seemed the man had no thought for sleep. Those that tried had made the rest jump from hearing their fearful screams. Thanks to that, they had managed to gather all of the remains of their families and friends for the pyre made outside of the village.
As for the buildings, it was amazing how little were actually destroyed. By the next morning, they might actually have the wall fixed enough to hold the forest Beasts at bay.
