Walking back to the class, Diana and Sia welcome's a new student, looking so suspicious in the nose mask he wore and the seriousness In his gaze, his hair was as dark as darkness itself, his eyes as cold as a frozen ice, no doubt everyone in the class noticed a devilish aura from him, tho people could be calm as their nature but he's calmness was a terror to those around him.
Sia bends her eyebrows lower, putting on a weird expression as she suspiciously looks at the new guy and then at Diana, while walking back to her seat.
Diana gives her an angry look which clearly Sia understood, as they both sat down on their respective seats.
The new guy was completely nonchalant about anyone's impression of him as he gazed at the shimmering sun, which brushed against his eyes making his sparkling golden eyes glow.
"Alright students" the teacher said, walking into the class with a corporate look on, while holding the stick she uses to trace every word on the board.
"You all should welcome Mr kia, he might behave or look a little different from you all but I expect you all to welcome him well"
Suddenly whispers begin to fly around the class
"Welcome him, never"
" You go first jack, I'll follow if you do, '' said a lady to her male seatmate.
"Do you think he's ugly?, I mean because of the nose mask" another student asked as noise began to erupt.
"Quiet!!!!!" Mrs Amis Scott mutter's out loudly, silencing everyone in the class with her sharp but scary gaze.
Mrs Amis was one not to joke with, one gaze at you would feel like you just entered her book of hell's, and you don't want to be one of the victims their names are written in her book of hell's, those that their names were written there always had an F in her subjects and this made them repeat a class every year, no form of bribery could escape her site, anyone indulging in such she made sure he/she got expelled, everyone called her the mother of hell, she hardly laughs but if ever she did, it would be for a very short moment.
Taking a deep breath she exhales softly and then continued
"I'm not here to teach but to give you a quick notice for those who would adhere, a test would be coming up next week, so prepare yourselves, I hope the failures amongst you all decreases but if it increases then I won't be ashamed to honor you your desired grade, it's Friday hope you haven't forgotten" she said and then walks out of the class.
Diana couldn't help but take constant glance at the nose mask guy in class, his nonchalant behavior kept her astonished, his motionless alluring personality kept Diana lost in thoughts.
Maybe he is a loner, who values his privacy, or maybe he wore the nose mask because he wasn't good looking and was trying to hide it, or could it be he was allergic to something? Diana thought, but that doesn't mean he won't be welcomed here, as the class prefect I believe it would be best if I welcome him first, I'll make way for the rest.
The class was all noisy once the teacher left, everyone faced one thing or the other, Sia on her own side was just busy operating her phone, the only person concerned about the new guy was Diana.
She immediately stood up, looking sassy as she made her way to Kia, in her fitted jeans which brought out her shape and made her look attractive.
No doubt Diana was a pretty girl with long wine coloured hair, her eyes sparkling gray and her lips as soft and charming as strawberry, her skin, fair and smooth and her metacarpus as soft as a new born baby. Every guy in school wanted her but she never had eyes for them.
She immediately stood up from where she sat, walked straight to where Kia was, bracing herself, she stretches out her hand towards Kia to shake him.
"You are welcome kia to golden high school"
Not even a glance at her escaped his face, he was just gazing at the sun, ignoring Diana's presence.
Abruptly Diana clears her throat and mutter's welcome again, suddenly his gaze moves, meeting Diana's eyes, she flinches, looking a bit afraid.
Kia could feel the movement of blood in her body, her heartbeat and the way she swallowed her saliva, he could tell she was afraid, abruptly he turns his face aside as his eyes darkened like that of a bear, he was losing control, he had been controlling himself for a while since he entered the school premises but as soon as Diana came closer to him, he began to have an intense battle with himself, the taste for blood got heightened, he had to do something now or risk hurting someone and revealing his true identity.
"Stay away " he said quietly as his voice deepened, little by little he was changing form from the inside, so he quickly ran to find an empty place to hide.
Everyone stared at the drama that transpired with Diana and Kia..
***(Kia in an empty classroom battling with himself)***
"Kia, Kia... Kia where did he go?" Diana asked as she looked around for him, passing the class where Kia was, she heard a painful sound, she sensed he was going through something.
(Knock on the door of the entrance to the class)
"It's Diana Kia, the girl that welcomed you in class today...". "can I come him"
"No stay away please" he said, trying to catch his breath.
His fingers began to grow long, and longer, his claws were coming out now, Diana being so worried that her actions must have hurt him, reluctantly opened the door, immediately he pulled her in and faced her against the door.. Her face was leaned on the door with her hands against it.
"It hurts," she cried out calmly.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you turn around" he Said as he calmly moved his face, side by side on her neck, he was perceiving the smell of blood and how good looking she was.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you by my actions, I just... I just wanted to be friends with you... I meant no harm... Please calm down Kia" she said breathlessly...
Suddenly kia remembered his sister's word's
****(The words of his sister, a memory in the past)****
"Hey, you want to go to the human world?" Mona, Kia's sister asked.
"Yes I need to, if I don't I can't become king"
"True but it's not as easy as you think big brother, you need to control your taste for blood but if you want to hurt someone you can but don't taste the blood of a human" she smirked wickedly...
"I don't need any advice from you Mona"
"Okay let's place a bet and if you pass, I'll do whatever you ask me to do, I promise " this got kia interested in her company not that he needed any company, he loved his privacy alot.
"What is it Mona?" He asked as he walked to the window of his room.
"Find the girl you are fated to marry, if you succeed in not hurting or sucking her blood I will do whatever you say, also do not kill any human no matter how much the desire to do so arises, take no life Kia, and I will allow you my twin brother to become king"
Kia chuckled sarcastically and shaked his head.
"You have no right to make such demands "
"Of course I don't, but there is a price, " Mona said, smiling wickedly at his brother and then walking away.
Kia would do anything to get Mona off his neck, she has always tried to kill him in other to take his place as ruler but failed, on the other side Kia could never bring himself to kill his only family, there was thrive within his relationship with his sister and he was willing to do anything to stop it, so he took the deal.
**In the class**(back to the present)
"I'm... I'm sorry" he said as his claws went back in, he was himself again, he removed his hands from Diana's back, gently turning her around to face him, right after he had adjusted his nose mask on his face.
Suddenly his eyes caught sight of something as they stared at each other.
