For a few short minutes the Captain was the voice of reason.
"Kellen, your wound is still freshly healed, even with Green's help. We shouldn't do anything." He argued, his breath coming in pants as his gaze zeroed in on Kellen's lips. Kellen licked them. They were still lying with Kellen's back on the Captain's chest, but Kellen was anxious to have them chest to chest. He wanted to taste Rhys more.
"I don't even know where I was shot." Kellen offered, and the Captain groaned.
"Your thigh. You were shot in your thigh." Kellen stared at the Captain's lips as they moved, his heart pumping blood to other parts of his body as his head fogged.
"You'll be careful with me, won't you?" Kellen asked sweetly. The Captain's breath came out harsh.
