Clorinde leaned back in her chair slightly, her heart racing as she watched Mr. Mikhail's reaction to the news. She quickly nodded. "It's true, sir. Ivan married her in secret. These photos are from the day they signed the marriage certificate. I heard about it but didn't believe it until I found these pictures. They've been married for almost a year now."
Mr. Mikhail stood up abruptly and swept everything off his desk violently, sending papers and objects flying. "Then why are you just telling me now?" he demanded, glaring down at Clorinde.
Clorinde flinched, clasping her hands together apologetically and bowing her head. "Forgive me. I wanted to tell you sooner, but Ivan threatened to kill me if I did."
Mr. Mikhail's eyes blazed with fury as he muttered, shaking his head. "I knew he had a secret mate outside. But I didn't know he was already married to her. Marrying someone from another pack... this is a disgrace."
