Ivan finally returned to the mansion a few hours after Sokolov's call. As he headed toward the front door, he saw Ania stepping out with her purse in hand, seemingly on her way out. They both stopped as they closed in on each other, and Ivan raised a brow, surprised to see her. "So, you came."
Ania nodded, letting out a small chuckle before shrugging. "Yeah, I got bored and decided to visit, but I'm on my way out now." She then sighed, suddenly remembering Everly. "Something bad happened with Everly."
The look on Ivan's face completely changed upon hearing those words. The first thing he thought was that it was bad news. "What happened? Is Everly alright?"
Ania looked at him for a few moments before taking a deep breath. "Sokolov called her…"
