Everly glared at Sokolov with murderous eyes. The grin on his face annoyed her, and she wanted so badly to wipe it off, but she needed to control herself. The fact that he was pretending not to know who she was, like he wasn't the one who killed her parents, pissed her off even more. She looked down and took a deep breath to calm herself down before meeting Sokolov's gaze again. "That is none of your business, but if you really want to know, I am Everly."
Mr. Sokolov nodded, noticing the anger in her voice and raised both hands as if to avoid trouble. "Alright, alright. Nice to meet you, Everly."
Everly scoffed, crossed her arms, and looked away. She wanted to get away from there and not see his face because if she stayed there any longer, she might lose control.
