Artur looked up at Sergei with fear in his eyes. He knew he was caught, and the consequences could be dire if he didn't start talking. After a moment of him asking himself if he should tell him or not, he finally spoke with a barely audible voice. "It was Sokolov," he confessed, his words coming out in a rush. "He... he ordered us to bring her."
Sergei's eyes narrowed further at the mention of Mr. Sokolov. He released Artur, tossing him on the ground and taking a step back, processing the information. "Why? Why did he order you to bring Miss Everly? What does Sokolov want with her?"
Artur shook his head, his hands trembling as he stood up slowly. "I... I don't know. He just said... she's important... for his plans."
Sergei's jaw clenched with anger. He glanced over at Everly, who stood nearby, looking shaken but unharmed. "Could you go over there for a moment, Miss Everly?"
