Lev struggled to keep up as Artur continued to drag him toward the parking lot. He stumbled, barely catching himself while panting heavily. "Can you slow down? You've been dragging me like a madman this whole time, and people are looking at us weirdly."
Artur ignored him, not slowing his pace until they reached their car. He ducked behind it and looked through the side to see Everly standing next to her car, engrossed in a phone call. He let out a deep sigh of relief and turned to Lev. "Well, what do you know? I guess you were right, dumbass."
Lev, exhausted and slightly offended by what he just said, scoffed. "Dumbass? I help you find Everly, and I don't even get a thank you, but rather, I get called a dumbass. You were panicking like someone who was about to be beheaded back in the mall." His voice grew louder with each word.
