Damien leaned forward, his tone serious. "If we want this plan to work, we need to take it slow and plan it carefully. Right now, you're rushing everything, and I'm certain none of this will work. We should follow Clorinde's plan and see how it goes. If that doesn't work, then we'll reassess and come up with something else."
Mr. Sokolov shook his head with a look of defiance in his eyes that told Damien that he wasn't changing his mind. "Absolutely not. I'm tired of waiting. It's been months since we started following Clorinde's plan, and I'm not going to sit around and wait for it to work."
Damien stepped back, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender. "Very well, then. But when this plan of yours takes a wrong turn, don't say I didn't warn you."
Mr. Sokolov sneered. "I'll take full responsibility for this. Just do as I say and focus on getting that diamond from Orlov. Leave the rest to me."
