Ania slowly looked up at Sokolov, her heart skipping a beat when she saw that he was staring at her with an odd smile. She quickly shook her head and continued to scan through the menu, trying to calm her racing thoughts. "Is this man playing dumb, or has he actually found out it was us who broke in? Why is he giving me that look?" she wondered.
Mr. Mikhail, not noticing the tension, laughed, "Just how terrible is your security that a bunch of random people could break into your residence without you knowing? Maybe I should refer you to a more advanced security firm because you most certainly need it."
Sokolov laughed, though it seemed forced. "No, thank you, Mikhail. I'm already looking into improving my security. You know, these things happen. I can't be too careful these days."
Mikhail's smirk widened. "Well, good luck with that."
