Everly's heart pounded in her chest when she saw the man's scary expression. "I-I'm really sorry," she stammered, scrambling to her feet. She tried to wipe the milkshake off his jacket with her hands, but it only seemed to irritate him more.
"Are you blind?" Mr. Mikhail knocked her hand away, his voice rising. "Do you not know how to watch where you're going or what?" He looked so angry, one could almost see fire in his eyes, and the veins on his neck bulged as he towered over her. "This jacket is worth more than your entire wardrobe, you clumsy fool!"
Everly's hands trembled as she continued to apologize. "I didn't mean to, sir. It was an accident."
