Ania's cab pulled up right in front of a massive club. She stepped out, her phone pressed to her ear. "I'm here," she said into the phone, glancing around.
The person on the other end assured her they would be out in a minute.
As she walked towards the entrance, two burly security guards stepped in her path. "Ticket, please," one of them demanded, crossing his arms over his chest.
Ania frowned, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "I know the owner. He's coming out to meet me,"
The guards exchanged skeptical glances with each other, finding Ania's words a lie. "That's what they all say," the other guard added with a smirk. "No ticket, no entry. Don't even think about sneaking in. Move along, or we will be forced to escort you out."
Ania's stared at them, annoyed that the guard thought she was lying. "I'd like to see you try," she replied in a low voice.
