Ania sighed. "Ivan, I'm not exactly an expert in taking care of tiger cubs or any animal at all. The only pet I've had was a goldfish, and it died after I tried applying makeup to it, remember?"
"Well, that was when we were kids. You're a responsible adult now. And don't worry, the zoo staff gave me detailed instructions." Ivan assured her. "Besides, it's only for a day."
Ania hesitated, but she also understood how much this meant to Ivan. Finally, she relented. "Alright, fine. But only on the condition that I get to stay at your other estate. There's no way I'm taking these creatures anywhere near the pack."
"Why, of course. I'll meet you at the estate shortly to hand over the tiger cub. Don't forget to pick up the kitten tomorrow."
"Got it," Ania agreed, ending the call and instructing the cab driver to take her to Ivan's estate.
