She continued walking down the lonely road and stopped when she spotted a Rolls-Royce driving upward. Knowing it was Ivan, she crossed her arms, rolling her eyes at how late he was.
The car slowed down as it reached where she stood before coming to a complete stop. The window rolled down, and Ivan looked up at her. "I have finally arrived." He paused when he saw the scratches and wounds on Ania's body. "Oh dear. Did you fight a wild cat or something?" He asked, stepping down from the car.
"Wow, you're so early, the sun hasn't even risen yet," she said sarcastically, frowning at him. "You said you'd be here in twenty minutes, so what took you so long?!"
Ivan sighed, "I'm sorry that I'm late. I tried taking a shortcut to get to you faster, but there was a lot of traffic, so that's why I was delayed." He extended his hands, gently wiping off a streak of blood from her face. "What happened to you, though?"
