Elsa's POV
Kneeling beside me, he gently brushed a strand of hair from my face, his touch careful yet commanding.
Welcome to the Grey Wood Pack."
As I looked around realization dawned in my eyes, I attempted to sit up, only to wince in pain. Alpha Bryan's instincts kicked in, his Alpha aura emanating a soothing energy as he helped me into a more comfortable position.
"You took quite a fall," Alpha Bryan explained gently. "
With his assistance, I managed to stand, albeit unsteadily.
"Thank you," I said, gratitude evident in my voice. "I don't know how I ended up here."
"That's a story for another time," Alpha Bryan replied with a reassuring smile. "For now, let's get you cleaned up and nourished. You must be famished." He wastes no time in grabbing my hand
"Come in" I felt the current passing through my veins. I suddenly flinched. His touch, there was something about his touch that's sends chills down my spine.
My legs were so weak. I struggled to maintain balance as my muscles wee sore from running but I kept tripping over my feet. Sweeping me off my feet he says nothing and continues to walk towards the main house.
Once inside, he carries me through a flight of stairs and comes in front of a door.
" This is your room" Pushing the door open. He finally put me down on my feet and "this is Gwen" he said pointing towards a lady in her mid thirties. She will be attending to you.
The sound of flowing water was soothing, and I felt a sense of calm wash over me as I approached the hot bath.
"I'll give you some privacy," Alpha Bryan said, gesturing towards the bathroom. "Take your time. When you're ready, join us for breakfast."
I nodded gratefully, watching as he retreated to give me space. I undressed, letting my clothes fall to the ground in a pile, and eased myself into the warm embrace of the hot bath.
The water was a balm to my sore muscles, melting away the tension and fatigue of my ordeal.
As I soaked in the healing waters, my mind wandered to the events that had led me here. Memories flashed before me. My escape the death of my lover, my rebellion. Why had u done it in the first place.
I grieved silently, lost in my thoughts, I almost didn't notice when Gwen my servant knocked on the door.
" Ma'am Alpha Bryan waits for you"
Eventually, after what seemed like eternity I emerged from the bathroom refreshed and renewed, my skin tingling with vitality.
Gwen had laid out a fresh set of clothes,a simple yet comfortable dress. I stepped into the bedroom with a towel wrapped around me, looking into the wild mirror that was perfectly pinned to the wall, I admire myself.
Until Bryan makes me jump. He was seated at the edge of the bed.
"What Happened to privacy" he winked at me.
"You were taking too long princess, everyone's waiting for you" and with that he left.
l dressed quickly, the fabric cool against my skin, and followed Gwen back towards the pack's main gathering area.
The scent of breakfast greeted me as I approached, a hearty spread of fresh fruits, steaming porridge, and fragrant herbal tea. The pack members were already gathered, their faces lighting up with genuine warmth as they welcomed me into their midst.
Alpha Bryan stood at the head of the makeshift table, his presence commanding yet approachable. He met my gaze with a nod of approval.
"Elsa," Alpha Bryan addressed me, his voice carrying across the clearing. "We're glad you're here. Join us for breakfast.
I took my place among the pack, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't experienced in a long time. As I savored the food. He reached out as my long hair that had just covered a part of my face and tucked it behind my ear.
I stole a glance and everyone was staring at us but it didn't seem to bother this Charming alpha. I coughed immediately trying to break the silent.
"Are you alright" he asked curiosity in his eyes, I nodded and he handed me a glass of water. I drank all of it continued to munch on my food.
"What's the name of your pack" he asked
