"Excuse me, may I ask a question?" Aisam said after he approached the receptionist in the medical department's ground-floor lobby and placed his hand on her desk.
The receptionist remained silent, her eyes scanning him from head to toe. 'Handsome,' she thought, a slight blush coloring her cheeks.
"Of course, sir. I'm here to help," she said with a broad smile, her gaze locking onto his.
"Thank you," Aisam said, returning her smile with a charming, closed-eyed smile. "I was wondering why the healers aren't given any holidays?"
The receptionist averted her gaze, scratching her cheek with her finger.
"Well..." She sighed heavily, her expression turning weary as she looked back at him.
