Since Sir Elijah let her off fairly quickly from work, she stretched her arms and sluggishly walked out of the office, admiring the structure of the building. The academy had a big garden, which she walked past, leaving the academy's premises. A few students were roaming around.
As she reached the gate of the academy, behind it stood a fancy carriage.
"Miss, are you about to head to Chrystanthia House?" The coachman asked with his hat lowered as he gave a courteous bow.
"Yes, I am," she replied with a nod.
"Sir Elijah had sent me here to pick you up, miss." He implored, and so she got inside the carriage. It was a modern carriage with a warm heater and heated seats.
Since the window was slightly opened, the light wind waved inside the room, making her feel embarrassed. A path went past the town nearby, which was lively with lots of houses and bustling crowds. Enchanted by the sight, she gleefully gazed at them.
