It had been 2 months since mom's funeral and still couldn't believe she was gone

School was gonna resume Soon and I'll be in my senior year.

I remember talking to mom about this and I was Soo excited but...now I just didn't feel as excited

Mom...mom... I'm sorry. I mumbled as a tear rolled down my eye which I quickly wiped away after hearing the loud knock on the door.

As I walked down the stairs I heard some voices and as I got closer they became clearer and I also saw the people who the voices belonged to.

There sat my dad and beside him was a blonde woman with blue eyes and a seat away from them was a young girl with blonde hair too but a pair of black eyes.

Why did this woman look familiar??

What are you doing here? I asked as I stared at the woman with a blank look

You want me to calm down? This woman's the reason why mom's gone. She's the reason I no longer have a mother and you expect me to calm down. I asked as I tried to stay as calm as I could.

I decided to take a seat and listen to what this was all about.

Elle from now on Veronica and your sister Arina are gonna live here with us. There was an intense silence for a few seconds
