"What do you mean, you're suing me?" Lauren demanded, her voice laced with a mixture of confusion and indignation.
Rayleigh let out a measured breath, her tone calm and authoritative. "Firstly, you should have knocked on the door. Second of all, I have you on a restraining order, and you've just violated it. That's a criminal offense, and I can have you arrested for it."
Lauren's eyes widened, the realization of her actions dawning on her. Rayleigh continued, her voice firm and unyielding.
"And lastly, yes, I'm suing you. It's not enough to just have a restraining order; your constant harassment has taken a toll on Isabelle's mental health, and when that happens, it affects my well-being too. I'm going to protect her, even if it means going up against my own parents."
Lauren's brow furrowed in frustration. "But where have you been living these days, anyway? I can't seem to find you or Isabelle anywhere."
