"How could you do that to me, Roxie? I thought we were best friends!" Lauren barged into Roxanne's house without notice, ignoring the security guards.
"Do what?" Roxanne had just emerged from the sauna after her gym session.
"You told Matthew about David!" Lauren screamed at her.
"Oh, that." Roxanne walked to the table next to the sauna and drank the juice her personal trainer had prepared specially for her.
"Don't 'oh' me! Do you know what happened to me? Do you know?" She shouted again.
Ever since high school, Lauren had always been the one who acted like the leader in their group, thinking she could lead her and Melissa—maybe even Melissa, but never Roxanne. She never actually listened to whatever Lauren said. Roxanne followed her because she seemed fun, and Lauren loved to spend money on them.
