Madelyn told Rayleigh that she would meet her at the airport, but first, she had something she needed to do before going to Bangkok, Thailand. Her husband, Anthony, agreed with what she had to do.
"Can Matthew deal with it?" Rayleigh asked, concerned.
"It's not something he can deal with," her mother replied. "He can handle the rest of the case himself, but this? It has to be me."
"Okay, just don't be late," Rayleigh said.
"I just need one hour, two hours max," Madelyn reassured her.
Madelyn then hung up the phone and smiled at the person sitting in front of her. The previous night, for the first time in their lives together, Anthony had finally asked her to do something about Lauren.
