Isla sees Isabelle coming from the HR office, carrying a stack of documents with a worn expression on her face. "Shouldn't you be happy instead of sulking like that?" Isla asks.
Isabelle turns her face and stares at Isla, then smiles brightly. "You have no idea how many papers I have to sign in order to be with the person I love," she says.
"Oh my God, can you hear yourself?" Isabela rolls her eyes.
"You asked for it," Isabelle laughs, moving in to hug her best friend.
"Everything done?" Isla asks, her voice soft.
"Yeah, it's all done. I'm just finishing my roster for this month, and then I'll be off to New York," Isabelle says, smiling at Isla. "You're not going to cry on me, are you, Isla?"
"I'm about to. I really don't want us to grow up. Growing up means adulting," Isla pouts, letting go of the hug.
