"You're finally back! I thought you'd just stop being a doctor!" Martha greets Rayleigh the moment she steps back into the hospital, then walks over to the nurse's station in Rayleigh's department.
"It was only three days," Rayleigh says, rolling her eyes.
"Heh, you can take longer than that, doc. I was just teasing you," Martha chuckles. "You've spent most of your youth in the hospital; there's nothing wrong with spending time with your loved ones these days."
"My youth?? I'm not even 36 yet!" Rayleigh exclaims.
Martha continues to tease her, handing over three patients' medical records and a stack of reports. "I meant your twenties," she says. "Will Rose be coming?"
"Maybe. She told me she needs to go to her office in New York and wants to formally ask to move here," Rayleigh says, already immersing herself in the patient files.
