Camilla couldn't believe what she heard when the maid told her that the family and the physiotherapist had already left in the morning for Tuscany. They would be back in a week or more.
"Why would they go to Tuscany?" Camilla asked, her voice tinged with desperation. She had to apologize today, or her father would kick her out—and that was not something she wanted.
The maid, a familiar face around the villa, answered with a shrug. "We don't know, Miss Cami. Madam Madelyn didn't say anything; she just told us that they'd be going to Tuscany and would be back in a week or more."
Camilla felt a growing sense of unease wash over her. The maid was one of the people who had worked with the Bianchi and Castillo families for years, and they were all too familiar with Camilla's occasional visits to the villa to host her friends and have small parties.
