Luo Ru shook her master who seemed to be in a deep sleep. She had been waiting for her master to wake up for 2 days now.
"Eh?"
Tao Li opened his eyes and saw a beautiful woman in front of him. Not just that, she also seemed to be wearing strange clothes from ancient China.
"Who are you?"
Tao Li asked the woman who suddenly fainted after being questioned.
He stood up and looked around, he had died just a minute ago and now he's in a different place.
'Reincarnation is real huh? I guess all those religions on earth were false then.'
After stabilizing his thoughts, he suddenly gained memories of the body he inherited from the previous owner.
He was still named Tao Li, but he was not the average man on earth anymore, he was now the leader of a the fallen Immortal Sword Sect.
The reason was because of their techniques, they just weren't on par with any other sect and most disciples could do better without it.
It wasn't an exaggeration either, their techniques were so bad that they would affect the talent of the cultivator.

Tao Li seemed to choke on the air once he heard what happened.
'This guy really made some horrid techniques, ill also get revenge later!'

He sat down and sent Luo Ru to grab some herbs that were in the spiritual herb field which was somehow intact.

The realms in this world were: Body Tempering, Spirit Gathering, Foundation Building, Spiritual Body, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and Calamity Succession.
A spiritual root was basically how fast/how much spiritual energy someone can cultivate into their bodies, the grades are:
Basic, Ordinary, Good, Genius, Rare Genius, Heaven Defying, Peerless, Supreme, God Given, and Absolute.
Spiritual roots also have threads that determine how powerful it is, there can be up to 10 threads and having 10 basically means you are half-step into the next spiritual root grade. You cannot change your grade either. (unless you have a system)
Divine flames determine a cultivators affinity towards a certain attribute and play a role in how well someone does in Alchemy, Refining, Talismans, etc.
An Emperor's flame comes about every millenia and the user has an amazing affinity towards every attribute and will be unparalleled in the previously stated professions.
The Divine Continent is extremely big and could be considered a small universe compared to earth, so an emperor's flame being only once in a millenia could explain how rare it is.
