It went well at the shelter, then the girls went to the fashion house that Adela had chosen to get her gown. The sisters walked in and were immediately greeted by the designer, who was happy to have them. She understood that Adela's wedding was in weeks, but she said it was an honour to make the dress of the Rhodes Princess and the future Queen of Myria. Lucia did not miss the curious and hopeful glances shot her way. She just ignored them. This was Adela's moment, and she could come another day to get her gown if she liked the place so much.
She looked around and saw that the woman not only made wedding gowns, but there were also a lot of high-quality gowns on the racks. Caroline was in dress heaven.
"Oh!" she cooed, "I know my dress was beautiful, but I wish I could do my wedding again just to wear one of these for Alex."
"You can always wear it in the privacy of your home," Lucia suggested from the corner of her mouth.
