Lucia might have had her own wedding months away compared to Adela's, which was only weeks away, but she still had a lot of pressure riding on her. The guest list was still up in the air. She was not sure which members of her extended family, if any, her parents would invite. She was sure everyone from Michael's family would show up – even King Gustav and his entourage. She wondered if she should wait until Adela's wedding to make a final decision. But the guest list was not her only problem. Why was wedding planning so stressful?
"What are you doing?" Caroline asked as she walked into the room.
Lucia looked up at her and smiled. "I'm picking flowers."
Caroline cocked her head. "What do you have so far?"
"Wisterias and buttercups," Lucia said. Caroline tried, and failed, to suppress a face.
"What is it?" Lucia asked, wanting to hear her sister's opinion as she was not completely happy with her choice.
