Waiting in front of the Palace was the Myrian King himself. Gustav greeted the group that had arrived with a smile. There were Michael and Lucia, Alexander and Caroline, and then King Philip and Queen Miriam. As far as Lucia knew, her brother and her parents would show up at the ball. They could not get away from Rhodes just yet.
Lucia looked over at Caroline and saw that she was looking around the space, searching for something or rather, someone. Lucia saw the satisfied smile on Caroline's lips when she did not see who she was looking for, and she bit back her own smile.
"You all must be tired," Gustav was saying. "Your rooms have been set up, and you can go up to freshen up."
"Thank you, cousin," Michael said with a smile.
