The Handhoff family once again gathered in front of the television. Josephine seemed to be in better spirits. An hour before, she had spoken to her husband. He had spoken to all of his children while being driven to the council hall. They had all told him that they loved him and missed him. He had told them that he loved them and then he'd had to go.
Now they sat in front of the television watching another doctor explaining the examination he had taken of King Jarold's corpse without King David knowing. The man said that he had found signs of a hypersensitive reaction… an allergic reaction on the king. Josephine wished she was with Dominique as the man spoke because when the man proceeded to explain these signs, it was truly heartbreaking.
