Finally, they entered the ship's command center, where the Regent stood waiting. He was a tall, imposing figure, his presence commanding the room. His eyes gleamed with cold intelligence as he regarded them.
"So, you've come to face me," the Regent said, his voice calm. "I must commend you on your persistence. But you're too late. The outpost will fall, and with it, your hopes of victory."
"We're not here to listen to your monologue," Wil said, his weapon trained on the Regent. "This ends now."
The Regent smiled. "You think you can defeat me? I've planned for every contingency. Even if you kill me, my forces will continue. The Coalition will rise, and the Alliance will fall."
Wil shook his head. "You underestimate us. We're not just fighting for the Alliance. We're fighting for everyone you've threatened. And we're going to stop you."
The Regent's smile faded, replaced by a look of disdain. "Then let's see if you can back up those words."
