Back on the Lykari flagship, Wil's team met with Captain Eira and a group of Lykari scientists. The artifact lay on the table, its carvings shimmering faintly.
"This is extraordinary," one of the scientists, Dr. Valen, said as he examined the stone. "These markings are ancient, predating our known history."
Wil nodded. "We need to understand what it does and why the Dark Veil is so desperate to get their hands on it."
Dr. Valen activated a holographic scanner, projecting the artifact's intricate carvings into the air. "This will take time. The language and symbols are unlike anything we've seen before. But I believe we can decipher it."
Aralina stepped forward. "We don't have much time. The Dark Veil knows we have this. We need answers quickly."
Captain Eira placed a hand on Aralina's shoulder. "We'll do everything we can. Meanwhile, you should rest and prepare. The next phase of this journey will be even more dangerous."
