—[Darwin's Inner World]—
Darwin's body laying sprawled next to a pile of corpses. His lips parsed, his stomach revealing his ribcage, his eyes closing ever closer by the second.
The phantasm continues to observe Darwin's actions and asks.
...Why?
Her voice confused, she hurried begs him.
You could regain your power, sanity and crown!
Darwin laughs after listening to what she offered, he responds with a hoarse voice, "But there is more to life than a being who cannot control themselves."
But...
"Harribel was the only one who ever truly cared about me. This is happening in this shitty dog eat dog world. Can't you believe that? Hahaha--!"
While his body is emaciated beyond belief, his will was stronger than the phantasm had hoped for.
"If you were on my side. You would be compromising, no?"
...
Listening to her silence, it struck him the wrong edge.
"I loathe you." Red eyes wanting to pop out, his face tenses as he gnashes his teeth.
Slowly taking deep breaths, Darwin returns to him composed self, wanting to let himself rot with the corpses of his comrade, and Harribel's loyal followers.
"I can't understand the weight of frustration she must be in right now."
...
"Do you understand what it means to be compassionate? His heart spirals out of proportion. It slowly solidifies and fully covered his Hollow hole.
"I now understand these meaningful emotions." He laughs, reaching his arms out, and then caressing his chest that was once empty.
You are drifting away from your rightful throne!
She was struggling to understand Darwin, her voice wavering to his indifferent mindset.
"I know you want the best for me. I can feel it with our connection."
The phantasm was elated when she heard that.
His change his tone says otherwise, "But you forgot one thing."
Ah?…
"A king isn't a ruler if he can't understand his people around him."
Taken aback, she tries to reconsider his words. Understanding what he had said was right.
*Crack*
The pieces of his mask scatter across the empty void. His body steadily shrinks, his skin tone naturalises to a light pale skin. He maintains his neon green eyes, but his the pores on his head releases long strands of purple hair.
His body is covered in long green tattoos, mystifying his transformation from Perdicion to human.
You weren't suppose to be a human!
She pouts and crosses her phantasm arms to the side.
"But you ultimately helped me recover the Hollow hole. Doesn't this transformation signify something truly new?"
Everyone is going to think you are a human!!!
She comes closer, smacking her shrouded arms upon Darwin's chest.

—[Reality]—
"Darwin's body is changing!" Harribel points out, feeling weirded out with the smaller and paler version of Darwin.
Urahara was constantly keeping tabs on Darwin while supplying his body with Reishi with hand movements. This new transformation brought many interesting thoughts, may it be good or bad.
"Hoh~" Urahara's eyes darts across his body.
"I see." He notices that the Hollow hole was filled when before it was partially filled.
"He became human with Hollow characteristics." Sensing a calm surge of Reishi within his body, it added to curiosity, piquing to new heights.
"So what is happening to Darwin?" Harribel asked, looking extremely puzzled at this moment.
"...Its a new concept that I haven't seen in the murals or past history of Hollows till now."
Balancing between curiosity and seriousness, he sighs to himself.
"I might be able to make something that can help him."
"What would that be?"
"Its a Gigai, a substitute body that soul-like individuals like us can take on in order to interact with the human world. But..."
His face tenses, seriousness apparent all over his expression.
Gulping, Harribel asks with a slight sweat streaking her forehead, "But what?"
"But nothing!" Hurting from his own laugh, he rolls on the ground beneath him.
Harribel's blushes, shrouding her face away.
Darwin's body shutters, his eyes twitching to the light above, using his hands to cover them.
"Darwin! Are you okay?" Harribel asks with a look of concern.
"Harribel?" Listening to the incoming sounds, he processed her familiar voice to be Harribel's.
Slowly lifting his eyelids, he scans around the room and saw an unfamiliar being.
"A human?" He sizes Urahara questioning why a human is within his proximity.
"But wouldn't a human just die from my Reiatsu?" Scratching his head in bafflement, but also feeling something different on top of his head.
"Hair?! I have hair?!" Ruffling his head filled with purple hair strands, he feels a mixed emotions.
"Well how insightful of you." Urahara covers his mouth with his paper fan, chuckling to Darwin's words.
Darwin continues to observe the changes to his physique.
"Are you perhaps a Soul Reaper?" Darwin inquired, believing that he wasn't a regular human.
"So your first thought isn't killing me. How perplexing indeed." Giving Darwin a weirded out look, Urahara also wants to ask some information.
"How did you manage to seal your Hollow hole?"
Puzzled, Darwin is shaking his head in ponder.
"…I think it's my body disposition."
Feeling his laid back attitude, Darwin happily responded knowing Urahara was also the one who helped him.
"I see… I see… You are what I had in mind when I tried to research a special orb."
Raising his brows, Darwin asked, "Special orb?"
"Hohoho…a slip of a tongue." Urahara feigns the easy man personality.
Closing his paper fan, Urahara questions, "Would you two like to help me with a certain task in return for a favour?"
"…" The two begin pondering, thinking carefully about whether this man was truly on their side.
"How good is this favour." Darwin thought that someone who saved him isn't someone who would go back on their words or perhaps betray.
"Mhm…" Harribel chimed in.
"It's good enough to help you achieve what you want." Urahara responded, confidence hinted with his deeper tone.
"And what is this task that you ask of us?" Darwin asked, wanting to know this proposal even further.
