I woke up in my bed, the soft sheets clinging to my body like a lifeline. My head throbbed with a dull ache, and my limbs felt heavy and sluggish. For a moment, I lay there, disoriented and confused, trying to piece together the fragments of memory swirling in my mind.
And then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
The events of the previous night flooded back with startling clarity, each moment replaying in vivid detail. The ambush, the brutal attack, the blinding flash of light... And then, the mysterious woman, her presence both comforting and unsettling as she appeared before me in my darkest hour.
I sat up, my heart pounding in my chest as I tried to make sense of it all. Who was she? What did she want with me? And why did she save me from certain death?
Before I could dwell on these questions any longer, the door to my room creaked open, and there she stood, the mysterious lady from my dreams. Her presence filled the room, an otherworldly aura surrounding her as she gazed at me with eyes that seemed to pierce straight into my soul.
"Hello, Dante," she said, her voice smooth and melodic. "I hope you're feeling better."
I nodded dumbly, my tongue feeling thick and heavy in my mouth. "Uh, yeah. Thanks... I guess."
The woman smiled, a smile that was both loving and possessive, sending a shiver down my spine. "I'm glad to hear it. My name is Celestia, and I've been watching over you for quite some time now."
Watching over me? The words echoed in my mind, sending a chill down my spine. What did she mean by that? And why had she chosen now to reveal herself to me?
As if sensing my unease, Celestia crossed the room and sat down beside me on the bed, her presence warm and comforting. "I know you have many questions, Dante," she said gently. "And I promise, all will be revealed in due time. But for now, just know that you are safe with me."
I wanted to believe her, I really did. But as I looked into her eyes, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to her than met the eye. And as the events of the previous night continued to swirl in my mind, one thing became abundantly clear:
My life was about to change in ways I never could have imagined. And whether for better or for worse, only time would tell.
Before I could voice my concerns, Celestia reached out and took my hand in hers, her touch gentle yet firm. "There's something I need to tell you, Dante," she said, her voice taking on a serious tone. "In order for me to save you, I had to give you a gift. A gift that will change your life forever."
"What gift?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
Celestia's smile widened, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I've given you a special system," she explained, her words cryptic yet intriguing. "It will allow you to locate certain things and gain power beyond your wildest dreams."
"And why me?" I blurted out, unable to contain my curiosity.
Celestia's expression turned smoldering, her voice taking on a possessive, seductive tone. "Because, Dante," she whispered, her breath hot against my ear, "you have been chosen. Chosen to be my champion."
With that, she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to my forehead. And as her lips met my skin, the world around me began to fade, the image of Celestia disappearing into darkness.
And then, I woke up, my heart racing and my mind reeling from the vividness of the dream. But even as I tried to shake off the lingering sense of unease, one thing remained clear:
My encounter with Celestia was just the beginning. And whatever lay ahead, I was determined to face it head-on.
"System aligning with host... System aligned. Welcome host to the 7 sins system"
"What the heck...."
