The roads seemed to be longer as Selene tried to drive home quickly. The child on the back seat, sleeping peacefully. There was still no news of Brandon's whereabouts.
At the mansion, Dean Rogers paced around in worry. "Are you sure he's not at the back?" He asked Charlotte, who appeared confused.
"I've looked for him everywhere, by the time I was out he was nowhere," Charlotte responded, desperation in her voice.
"I even called Selene and…"
"You what? She has so much in her mind right now, why would you call her?" Dean asked in disbelief.
"Everyone calm down, we have more people looking for him, he'll be found within no time, have some faith," George said, holding his wife who seemed restless.
Selene caught something at the corner of her eye as she drove past. Her instincts telling her to drive back and confirm what she just saw.
Who in their right mind, would leave a child wandering alone in the streets at this late hour?
