The place smelt damp that even with a blindfold on, Jake could tell they were in a dangerous place. His head swirled in pain as he felt someone groan beside him. Feeling his body, as everything came crashing back at him. His hands tied against a chair with his father beside him.
"Son, are you okay?" Foster asked worriedly.
This wasn't supposed to happen, he was supposed to keep his son out of it all before carrying out his plan.
"Yes…" Jake groaned in response, his voice strained. He had never found himself in such a situation before.
"Don't worry, son, everything will be okay," Foster said as if sensing the uneasiness in his voice.
A sinister laugh fell into the dark room before their blindfolds were whisked off.
"There you go Foster with your false promises, promising the impossible," Lawrence said mockingly.
Foster felt anger rise inside him as he strained his hand ties in an attempt to break them, but it only got tighter.
