Jake and George paced through the hospital corridors. No one said a word to the other. At the corner, Foster sad with his head between his hands in anticipation. The doctor passed by without saying a word, which caused each one of them more worry.
The door to the operating room opened, revealing the doctor who took the patients in. "Doctor how are they?" Foster asked in panic, confused on whom to check on first. Three family members were admitted in the same hospital and almost all of them were undergoing operation.
"Sorry, Mr. Lynn, I don't have any updates for now, but we are doing everything possible to make sure they all make it out safe," the doctor said, rushing back inside.
Selene felt her lids become heavy as she tried to push them open. The beeping of machines making her aware of where she was. Panic set into her system, causing the machines to beep out loudly, bringing a nurse into the room running.
