Chaos occurred through the mansion, the sound of sirens filling the atmosphere. It was supposed to be a happy day, not a tragic one. Selene opened her eyes slowly, wishing this was another of the hidden surprises they hadn't pulled on her yet. She felt pain fill her lungs not sure if breathing had become difficult or the pain was from the impact she had received.
Jake shook her body relentlessly trying to bring her lost focus back. Her head swirled around at everything that seemed to be happening at the same time. She grinned into space, deeming what was happening as a dream she would wake up from. Her body felt light and darkness engulfed her, but she thought she heard little angelic voices calling her name just before she fell down.
Waiting for the impact which never came as she floated in the air which convinced her that she was with no doubt dreaming. Fate couldn't be that cruel to her after all she had been through.
