The atmosphere at the airport made her feel a relapse of the painful rejection memories she had gone through.

"Mommy, daddy is so cool, we get to fly for our first time because of him," Bryson said immediately after stepping out of the private jet.
Breanna, who was in Jake's arms, didn't say anything as she was deep asleep. "Jake I don't know if I can do this," Selene said, feeling anxious about being back.
"We are already here Selene, there's no going back on your word," Jake said, settling in the limo that came to pick them up.
"I informed my dad about your arrival, and he insisted we go for dinner, grandma wants to see my babies," Jake broke the news so casually without putting Selene's opinion into consideration.
"That's good Jake, very admirable and advisable, well done," Selene said sarcastically, biting her lip after every word to show him just how angry she was.
