Chapter 50 - Got To Ask Mom

While they were chatting, Kylie had a sudden realization and exclaimed, "Oops, I completely forgot! Lia, you must be exhausted from all the wandering around. Take a break and rest. And if you're hungry, let Ava know."

"Sure, Mom," Zara replied calmly, gazing at her mother. "Hmm, make sure to take a shower before going to sleep." Kylie affectionately stroked her daughter's head while saying.

"Alright, Mom. Good night." Zara stood up from the couch and uttered. "Good Night, dear." "Night, Lia." Hendry and Jack chimed in unison. "Night." After bidding farewell, Zara retreated to her room.

Kylie also rose from her chair and glanced at her two sons, saying, "I'll go check on your dad." Both Hendry and Jack nodded in agreement as Kylie made her way upstairs.

Hendry glanced at Jack and said, "Hey Jack, let's go upstairs." Jack met Hendry's gaze and noticed the seriousness in his expression, instantly realizing that something must be up.

With a nod, they both made their way back to the study attached to Jack's room. Since the mansion was quite spacious, each of them had their own study room for personal use.

Olivia was quietly studying in her room when she suddenly heard voices. She glanced over at Gia, who had just entered, and asked, "Hey, Gia, what are those voices?"

Gia responded with a disgusted expression, "It's the Second Young Master and that girl, Young Miss."

Olivia's face flushed with anger as she thought about how much attention her brothers were giving to that girl. Despite the fact that the Adam family's sons were rarely home, she now felt excluded even when they were present.

Gia glanced at Olivia and inquired gently, "Young Miss, didn't you come up with a plan to get that girl out of this house?"

Olivia lifted her head upon hearing the question and replied with a hint of frustration, "I do have a plan, but it requires her to go to school. Judging by how relaxed and content she seems here, it doesn't seem like she'll be attending anytime soon."

Olivia glanced at Gia and inquired, "Have my parents mentioned anything about sending that girl to school?" Gia pondered for a moment and replied, "No, Miss Olivia. There hasn't been any mention of it so far."

Olivia made a mental note to bring up the topic with her mother later. It seemed like her parents might have overlooked the girl's education after she returned home. If not, she won't be able to follow through with the plan her friend recommended.

Gia pondered for a moment before voicing her concern, "But, Miss, wouldn't it be better for you if she doesn't attend school?" Olivia raised an eyebrow and inquired, "And why do you think that?"

"Well, if she doesn't go to school, she might not be as smart," Gia started to explain, but Olivia interrupted, "Don't underestimate her. Just because she doesn't go to school here doesn't mean she hasn't received any education."

"The Adam family has the option to home-school her for as long as they please. Judging by her attitude and behavior, it doesn't seem like she's unaware of anything," Olivia calmly stated while looking at Gia.

Gia nodded in agreement upon hearing that, but she also raised a valid point, "Even so, if she went to the same school as you, wouldn't it expose her identity to everyone else?"

Olivia pondered the situation for a moment before turning her gaze towards Gia. "I'll handle it. But for now, I'm curious to find out if she'll be going to school."

"Oh, and by the way, Young Miss, she's already 18. Why would she still need to attend school?"

Olivia glanced at Gia, a realization dawning on her, "Oh, she's already 18, so she must have finished high school by now."

Gia turned to Olivia, questioning, "So, what's the plan now, Young Miss?"

Olivia locked eyes with Gia and confidently stated, "It doesn't matter if she goes to high school or college. Even if she chooses college, I have a strategy to make her leave the country."

Olivia flashed a smile and added, "And she won't even think about returning." Gia felt comforted by Olivia's resolute assurance, prompting her to reply, "You can count on it, Young Miss."

Olivia flashed a bright smile at Gia, not uttering a word. She then made up her mind to have a chat with her mom regarding Zara's studies, in order to figure out the best time to put her plan into action.

In Jack's study, Jack sat quietly, patiently waiting for Hendry who was engrossed in his phone. Hendry, speaking on the phone, requested, "I need all the surveillance footage from this morning."

David, on the other end of the line, responded calmly, "Sure thing, Mr. Hendry. I'll send over the footage right away."

"Thanks, David." "No need to thank me, Mr. Hendry. It's my responsibility." "Alright then." After ending the call, Hendry glanced up at Jack, who was casually lounging and casually swiping through his phone.

Hendry moved ahead, settled down on the sofa, and grabbed a glass of water. He was already exhausted from all the wandering around, and the phone call had left him parched.

After witnessing his brother finish the call, Jack approached the couch and took a seat, gazing at Hendry. "Hey, Hendry, what did you want to talk about?" Jack inquired calmly, his eyes fixed on his brother.

Hendry glanced at Jack and casually mentioned, "Hold on, before anything else, we need to update Alan and Noah about Lia's comeback."

Jack was surprised to hear that they needed to update the other two about Lia's return so quickly. It's not that he didn't want to inform them, it's just that he hadn't had the chance to spend quality time with his sister yet.

Jack glanced at Hendry, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Are you absolutely certain you want to say that right now? Can't we just put it off for a bit?" he questioned.

Hendry shook his head firmly. "No, I need to discuss something with Alan regarding Lia, so we can't keep it hidden."

The mention of Zara made Jack's expression grow more solemn. He knew that Hendry wouldn't bring their sister into their troubles without a valid reason.

After noticing the intense expression on Hendry's face, Jack finally realized that something significant had occurred earlier.

He gazed at Hendry and inquired with genuine concern, "Hey, what went down with Lia? Did something unexpected take place during your outing?"

"Give me a moment, I requested a video. And once that's done, we'll have a chat with Alan and Noah," Hendry replied calmly. "Sure thing."

At just seven in the evening, Hendry decided to video call Alan and Noah using the smart screen in Jack's study, which was linked to a mobile device.

Neither Hendry nor Jack were certain if both Alan and Noah would be available. While Alan might have some free time, there remained uncertainty about Noah's availability.

To their astonishment, Alan and Noah both answered the call. Two dashing and refined faces with a serious expression popped up on the screen. Both Alan and Noah were left speechless as it was unusual for the brothers to join a call together.
