After discussing security precautions with Arthur, Michael phoned the Adam family and discussed how to safely bring Zara to Laurania without alerting the mastermind.
The idea was to divert the person's attention and bring Zara to Laurania in a safe manner. So the family announced that Zara would be taken overseas for treatment due to her severe condition.
So that the mastermind would concentrate on the issue of traveling abroad. Zara, on the other hand, will go to Laurania with Uncle Charles and be left in his care.
Thus, based on it, the family worked and made arrangements to execute the strategy.
....
Grandpa Charles and his team arrived in Elbonia unofficially the next day without alerting anyone. The family had evacuated the whole west wing building after the first time of the attack, so Charles and his team were secretly brought inside the hospital.
Initially, Grandpa Charles went to speak with Zara's attending physician to get information on her medical history. After gathering the necessary information, he went to find the family and examine Zara's condition.
Charles entered the ward and noticed some members seated in the living room. With a groan, Charles turned to face Max and Mathew and said, "Why are you guys everywhere? At this age, can't you go home and relax?"
"If we are advised to relax, what about the old guy standing in front of us, making a suggestion?" Max looked up at Charles with an eyebrow arched in question.
"At least I'm sticking to the diet and working out every day. Not like some people who spends all of their time indoors being lazy." Charles entered and sat on the couch, rebuking him.
The family members gave each other a hopeless look and shook their heads as these seniors would typically greet each other in this same manner every time they met.
"After retiring from our works, we handed our workload to our kids to handle. Thus, rather than savoring life, why do we need to worry about anything else? We're different from others who don't even have heirs to pass on the wisdom from their generation." With a snort, Mathew crossed his knees and folded his hands as he spoke.
Charles, like Mathew and Max, was staring at each other standing opposite with a chilly expression. The air felt suddenly full of staggered knives, making it difficult for the students who followed Charles to breathe.
The family members simply felt powerless and didn't exhibit any emotion because they had become used to it.
The abrupt shift in the atmosphere and their master's unexpected fierceness left the individuals who followed Charles stunned. Suddenly they were unsure if he was really their master.
With a little smile, Daisy moved forward to stand between the two people and one individual and remarked, "Uncle Charles, weren't you supposed to come here to meet Zara?"
"Yes! My mood sank as I saw some people here. You see, I forgot my Zara due to these two individuals." As he stated that, Charles rose from the chair.
"She's our Lia!" Looking at Charles, Mathew, and Max said in a firm voice. After giving them a side glance, Charles entered the wardroom to see Zara.
The family looked at the seniors who loved acting like kids when they gathered together and shook their heads helplessly once again.
"Lia, look who's here?" As Daisy opened the door, she spoke. With a kind grin, Charles stepped forward and said, "Hi, Zara. Are you glad to see your Grandpa Charles?" The abrupt shift in Charles's persona stunned the kids who had been following him once again.
With this understanding, the kids knew what it meant to be biased. Since they have never witnessed their master so effortlessly go from hate to adoration. After all, who can truly comprehend the thoughts of a master?
"Hello, Grandpa Charles," Zara spoke with a smile. "How are you doing?" "Look at you, kid. I came here to watch you. You're inquiring about me, though." Charles approached Zara with a smile on his face.
"Dear, are you happy that you will be coming to Laurania with us? You'll have more fun there than you had here, I'm sure." As he checked Zara's pulse, Charles said.
"Yeah, I think so." "There is no need to worry. I promise you that you won't miss this place when we go there." Gazing at Zara, Charles remarked. "Get some rest, sweetheart. We will leave at five." "Ok, Grandpa Charles."
Charles turned his head to see the Adam brothers standing on the other side of the room and inquired, "Don't you four have school? How come you're wasting time?"
Jack answered calmly and smiled, "Grandpa Charles, you're going to take our sister to Laurania. So when we get the chance, we at least have to spend some time with our sister, right?"
"Jack, you haven't really changed at all. You resemble your grandfather exactly. From the inside out, the others are, at least, identical. You, however, are the reverse." Charles remarked, mockingly.
"Grandpa Charles, I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you for praising me." With an enormous smile, Jack said. Daisy was at a loss for what to do as she observed what was happening in front of her.
She had never been in a scenario where she couldn't know how to handle a situation, but now she couldn't manage the people in front of her. She looked at Zara and winked at her for help.
"Grandpa Charles. Third Brother." When Zara called out to them, they instantly stopped talking.
Daisy cast a thankful glance at her niece. By now, the kids are certain that this is an obvious instance of partiality. They were astounded that their master could shut his lips just by calling for him. They found it to be amazing.
"Lia, you should relax. And be quiet around her!" After saying this to Lia, Charles turned to warn the lads. "Alan, control your brother." Alan gave him a nod. Charles went outside the wardroom and sat on the couch in the living room.
"Alex, John, is everything ready?" Charles questioned, glancing at John and Alex. "Indeed, Uncle Charles. As mentioned, everything is prepared." Alex, standing to the side, answered.
Andrew and Kylie came in the room and took a seat on the chair next to the bed. "Baby, remember to call us often." Kylie said, taking Zara's hands in hers. "And please let us know as soon as you need anything. Please give us a call. Okay?" "Sure, Mom." Zara smiled at her mom.
....
Since Elbonia lies at a northern latitude and it is winter season, the sun sets early, therefore it is already dark at five o'clock in the evening. The family members couldn't spend much time with Zara once they all traveled to the airport to board her.
The family readied two aircraft to deceive the assailant. One jet takes Zara and Charles together with their staff to Laurania. On the other hand, a fake body is carried in another plane with medical professionals who would board it with bodyguards in order to receive treatment abroad to confuse the assailant.
To divert attention away from Zara, they decided not to send her off personally since they needed to be near another plane that was reported to be leaving for abroad treatment.
