Chapter 24 - THE ROBOTS

Aqua, perched on an open-air stage, addressed his fellow villagers with a twinkle in his eye, "Hey folks, I've been cooking up a secret sauce to outsmart the kingdom. We're about to hit the fast-forward button on our lifestyle. Brace yourselves for change, it's going to be like swapping a donkey for a rocket!"

He unveiled a map, "This is our blueprint for a new city, complete with homes and a government building. I need your help to make this a reality. So, let's roll up our sleeves and get dirty!"

With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the crowd, "Alright, back to work. I'll be popping by to check on you all."

Turning to Iris, he quipped, "Hope you've had your coffee, Iris. It's going to be a long day."

As they headed towards the temporary tents, Aqua greeted Helina, "Hey Helina, meet Iris, our flying assistant. She'll be helping us build houses that'll make the kingdom's nobles green with envy. Gather Daalia and the dwarf, we've got a project to discuss."

In Aqua's chamber, he showed them designs of traditional Japanese houses on his laptop. The dwarf, wide-eyed, exclaimed, "These designs are out of this world! Can we really build something like this?"

Aqua, with a confident smile, replied, "Absolutely! We just need to plan well and work together. These houses will have everything - water, bathrooms, electricity. They'll be the envy of even the nobles!"

Daalia, caught up in the excitement, added, "I've never seen anything like this. If we pull this off, we'll be the talk of the kingdom!"

Aqua reassured them, "Don't worry, we've got a secret weapon to help us. Let's get to work!"

In a flurry of curiosity, everyone asked, "What is it?"

Aqua turned to Iris, "Is it ready?"

Iris, with a tone of accomplishment, responded to Aqua, "Indeed, my lord. With the aid of the diary, we've managed to manufacture the necessary parts. It's been a slow process, but we've successfully prepared Mr. Architect and Mr. Builder. They stand ready to assist us in our grand endeavor."

Aqua commanded, "Bring them here." He paused, adding, "Hold on, they're on their way."

The group exchanged puzzled glances but decided to wait as Aqua had instructed. Soon, the grand doors of the chamber swung open, revealing an unexpected sight.

"Good heavens! What are these, King?" they gasped.

"Are they… alive?" one queried, eyes wide with astonishment.

"They must be, if they can walk. But why do they look so… peculiar?" another chimed in, unable to hide their bewilderment.

Aqua burst into laughter, "They're not alive, they're robots!" What stood before them were two robots, standing tall at 170cm, their bodies resembling bulky muscles, and screens for heads displaying characters that looked like Mickey Mouse.

"Hello, boss," they greeted in unison.

"Hello, you two. Please introduce yourselves to everyone," Aqua instructed.

Turning to face the crowd, they announced, "Hello, people. We are Mr. Architect and Mr. Builder. Our mission is to assist the people of Sun in constructing new buildings and houses. Let's get to work, yaaaaa!"

Helina, hesitating slightly, managed a "Wow! Nice to meet you, I-" before the robots cut her off. "You're Helina, one of the elf sisters. Your hair is blond because of your race. You're currently the welfare manager. You're a nice, cute girl with the size of 100-"

Aqua quickly interrupted, "Aaahhh, shut up!"

Everyone was taken aback. "How do they know so much about us?" they wondered aloud.

Aqua explained, "Think of it this way: whatever I know, these robots also know. They learn on their own."

"But what about the 100cm?" Helina asked, her face a mask of confusion.

Aqua cleared his throat, "Ahem ahem, let's focus on the task at hand, Helina. And you two, let's discuss the work."

Mr. Architect took the lead, "As per Boss orders, we need to build houses for 700 people. We'll need materials and a sizable labor force."

Daalia queried, "How many workers will you need?"

Mr. Builder responded, "If we're to build many houses, I'd prefer 200-300 people."

Daalia countered, "That's a lot. Even if Helina, the dwarf, and I join forces, we'll only total around 100. Where will we find the additional 200?"

Mr. Builder nodded, "It's true, we need a strong and skilled workforce for this project."

Aqua, stroking his chin, agreed, "Indeed, we need more hands on deck."

The dwarf then asked, "What about the materials?"

Mr. Builder listed, "We'll need woods and bamboos, clay, paper, thatch, roof tiles, stones, timber shingles, and glasses."

Helina, with a puzzled expression, remarked, "Is it just me, or do these materials sound alien to everyone else here?"

The dwarf chimed in, "Well, I'm familiar with woods, bamboo, clay, glasses, and paper, but the rest are indeed alien to me."

Mr. Builder reassured them, "Don't worry about that. Iris has already located these minerals. We just need to go and extract them."

Aqua then turned to Daalia, "Prepare a team, Daalia. Mr. Architect, accompany her to these locations, extract the minerals, and bring them back in the cart."

Daalia nodded, "Yes, my lord. As you command."

Aqua continued, "Mr. Dwarf and Helina, you both start recruiting people and learn about building houses. Mr. Builder will teach you. Let's start preparing to build the houses."

Both Helina and the dwarf responded in unison, "Yes, King."

Mr. Builder, ready to get to work, said, "Okay, boss!"
