A large crowd of students came out of the building, it was the last day of school before summer and everyone was ecstatic.

Li Yi only had a few friends so he left quickly, he needed to get ready to get a job. He had always been poor and become even poorer after his parent's death.

He sprinted along the sidewalk and was almost at his house. Suddenly, a flash of light came out of nowhere and everything went back.

When he woke up, he seemed to be much shorter and his hands felt rough on the cold stone floor.

He heard a low growling noise that made him get up even quicker, for some reason he felt like he was crawling instead of standing.

When he looked down he saw paws and fur and some slobber on the cracked stone.

'Huh? Wait...IVE BECOME A SMALL RED DOG?! this isn't what I meant..'

A tear dropped from Li Yi's no-longer-human face. He looked around and saw red wolf like creatures which he felt a strangely strong bond with.

'These guys are my parents? What the heck!'

He tried to speak but all that came out was a strange growling noise.

Li Yi panicked and barked, even though he wanted to say something else. He looked around and saw a blue system window floating in the air.

'What the heck is this? A game?'

Li Yi tried to reach his paws out to touch it but fell flat on his face. He even tried jumping but it seemed like it was always out of reach.

Before Li Yi could finish his thought, pain like no other came from his head, it felt like being cut a thousand times in his head.

It abruptly ended and many memories that weren't there before were now in his mind.

The devouring ability could absorb somethings spirit energy(qi) and many more things.

'Makes sense, I guess I need to become stronger as fast as possible.'

Li Yi suddenly remembered another important thing.
