"Are you sure you don't want to wait until your astral power is under control?" Lyria asked, her voice filled with concern as she watched Rei prepare to open a portal again in search of his world.
"Doesn't really matter, and using this power makes everything faster anyway," Rei replied casually.
At the moment, Rei, Lyria, and Djeeta were gathered in their home within the Astral Realm, discussing Rei's plan to search for his homeworld. But the issue was obvious—both Lyria and Djeeta could see that Rei's eyes had shifted to a deep purple, a clear sign that his astral power was taking over.
"Yeah, Lyria's right. Maybe if we just wait a week?" Djeeta chimed in, echoing the same concern.
"No," Rei said firmly. "Like I said, this will be fast. With this power, I can easily open a portal to another world without too much trouble."
Despite their unease, the two of them exchanged glances, sighed, and finally relented. "Alright, alright, but make sure not to cause too much trouble for the world," Djeeta warned, her tone resigned.
"Yeah, you know how hard it is to rebuild a world if you destroy it... It's too bad Orchid isn't here right now," Lyria added.
"Orchid is visiting Apollo anyway. They haven't seen each other in a while," Rei replied, unfazed, as he moved toward the area where he would open the portal.
As he walked away, Djeeta whispered to Lyria, "I hope his astral side doesn't cause too much havoc."
"Well… let's just make sure we have enough power to fix everything if it does," Lyria responded with a wry smile, both of them well aware of the potential chaos that could ensue if Rei lost control.

"Who are you?" A voice echoed as Rei appeared in a new world, a fallen angel with dark wings flying in front of him, asking a question.
Rei, ignoring the figure, surveyed his surroundings. He noticed several injured individuals, their energy signatures fascinating to him. The most interesting were a red-haired girl and a boy with a glowing red gauntlet on his arm.
"I see... so this is DxD?" he muttered, immediately recognizing where he had arrived. As soon as the realization hit him, Rei's curiosity and darker impulses began to rise. The Evil Pieces embedded within some of the individuals drew his attention.
"Such dark energy... just like the dark crystals from the Erste Empire Era," Rei commented, his voice cold and analytical.
"How dare you ignore me!" the fallen angel growled in anger. Without hesitation, he hurled a spear of light directly at Rei, aiming to strike him down.
The spear flew fast, but just as it was about to pierce Rei, it vanished—disappearing without a trace.
"What...? It's gone?" Rias and the others watched in disbelief, stunned that such a powerful attack had simply evaporated.
Rei, now focusing his deep purple eyes skyward, finally acknowledged the source of the attack. Kokabiel, the fallen angel who had thrown the spear, instantly felt an overwhelming pressure, a primal fear creeping up his spine.
"Foolish..." Rei murmured, raising his hand toward Kokabiel.
"Gospel of the End."
Suddenly, Kokabiel began to scream in agony. Blood poured from his body—from his eyes, ears, mouth—everywhere. His wings started disintegrating, leaving him writhing on the ground.
Kokabiel's agonizing screams filled the air as blood gushed from every part of his body. The sight was horrific—an unstoppable torment as Kokabiel was reduced to a wretched heap on the ground. His body convulsed in pain.
Issei, filled with anger and disbelief, finally said. "What are you doing!?" he shouted at Rei, his voice trembling. "That's way too much! He's already beaten—there's no need for this!"
Rei's eyes, glowing with a deep purple hue, shifted to Issei without a hint of concern or emotion. His gaze alone was enough to silence the battlefield, a cold and detached look that seemed to weigh down on everyone present.
"And why should I care about a fool who attacks me unprovoked?" Rei replied with chilling indifference. There was no remorse in his voice, no hesitation. For him, Kokabiel was nothing more than a nuisance—a fleeting obstacle easily crushed.
Issei clenched his fists, feeling powerless in front of Rei's overwhelming presence. Even Rias, standing beside him, found herself at a loss for words. Her mind raced to comprehend who this person was and what kind of power he possessed.
Rias took a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. "Who are you?" she demanded, her voice firm despite the unease in the air. "And what do you want here?"
Rei's gaze drifted from Issei to Rias, his expression unreadable. "I didn't come here to engage with small fries," he stated, dismissing Kokabiel's torment as if it were nothing. "But since I'm here, I'm curious."
He then shifted his eyes toward Rias and her group. "Those pieces inside some of you—Evil Pieces, right?"
His gaze becoming more intense as he seemed to analyze the energy within them. "Such dark energy, reminding me of the dark crystals from the Erste Empire Era... fascinating. I wonder what would happen if I introduced a better source of power into the mix."
Rei's words hung in the air like a threat, and everyone understood that this man was far more dangerous than any opponent they had faced before.
Before Rei could do anything further, a figure clad in white armor suddenly landed beside the agonized Kokabiel. The newcomer's presence was striking, and his voice cut through the chaos.
"Hey, can you stop whatever you're doing? I'm here to take this guy and punish him for whatever he's done," Vali said, locking eyes with Rei. His gaze then shifted momentarily to Kokabiel, who continued to scream in agony.
Rei, however, wasn't particularly interested in Vali's words. His attention was fixated on the power inside of Vali—the Sacred Gear, Vanishing Dragon, more specifically Albion, the White Dragon Emperor.
Vali noticed the intensity of Rei's stare, specifically how it seemed to pierce directly into his Sacred Gear. "[Uh oh... this is bad, Vali. I can feel that he's staring right at me]" Albion's voice echoed from the wings of Vali's armor, sounding more cautious than usual.
Vali narrowed his eyes slightly, unsure of what to make of this silver-haired stranger, whose mere presence seemed to overwhelm even anyone he ever feel. This wasn't an opponent to take lightly.
"[Watch out, Albion! This one is really different from anyone you've ever fought!]" Ddraig's sudden warning cut through the air, startling even Issei, who was confused by his partner's urgency.
"Ddraig? Why so sudden?" Issei asked, sensing the unusual tension in his Sacred Gear.
But before Ddraig could respond, Rei vanished from where he was standing. In an instant, he reappeared right in front of Vali.
"!?" Vali's eyes widened in shock. "[Dodge, Vali!!!]" Albion's voice came too late.
Rei's hand plunged through Vali's chest armor as if it were nothing, his arm disappearing into the White Dragon Emperor's body. Vali barely had time to register the speed of the attack, and even the normally composed Albion was taken aback.
"What the—!" Rias, Issei, and the others gasped in disbelief. The sheer speed and precision of Rei's movement left them stunned, and the fact that he pierced through Vali's formidable armor as if it didn't exist only heightened the fear.
Vali, for the first time in a long while, felt genuine concern. "What... are you?" he managed to choke out, his body trembling from the strange power that binding him and no longer can make him move.
Rei's deep purple eyes flickered with a cold, detached intensity as he examined the power inside Vali, seemingly unfazed by his surroundings. "I'm just... experimenting," Rei said calmly, his voice devoid of emotion, as if what he was doing was no more significant than testing a theory.
As the purple light enveloped Vali's body, Albion's panicked screams echoed through the air, "[No! What are you doing!? Stop! Our souls—!]" The dragon's voice trembled in fear, realizing that the very essence of their souls was being altered by the man standing before them.
Rei, with a satisfied smile on his face, continued what he called "Activating Deus EX Machina." Calmly, he manipulated Vali's body and the Sacred Gear within, pushing them to a new, unseen level—more advanced, more powerful, as if forcing an evolution.
Meanwhile, the others could only shield their eyes from the blinding purple light. They were helpless, unable to act or stop Rei at this moment.
Vali, at the center of this transformation, felt an extraordinary change within himself. Though his body was filled with indescribable pain, he also felt a new power growing inside—an energy expanding, yet foreign, as if he was becoming something entirely different, something more.
Rei, still smiling, seemed to enjoy his experiment. "Let's see just how far you can go now, White Dragon Emperor."
It didn't take long for Rei to witness the drastic transformation of Vali's armor. Not only had he altered the structure of their souls, but he had also erased Vali's human side, turning him into a full-blooded Devil. Rei had infused his own Mana into Vali's body, amplifying his power beyond imagination.
Vali's groans shifted into a chuckle, and then into full-blown laughter. "Hahahaha! Amazing! This overwhelming power!!"
Moments later, Rei withdrew his hand from Vali's body, and the purple light surrounding him dissipated. As the light faded, the others opened their eyes, astonished by the sight before them.
The once white armor of the White Dragon Emperor had been transformed into a striking purple, with hints of white accentuating the new design. His wings had grown larger, more imposing, radiating an aura of immense power.
Rias, Issei, and the rest of the group could only stand in stunned silence, unable to process the immense change that had just taken place. Vali's presence had completely shifted, exuding an energy that seemed beyond their comprehension.
Rei, satisfied with the current creation watched with a calm smile as Vali reveled in his new form.
"Stop laughing."
The moment Vali heard Rei's command, his laughter ceased immediately, and he dropped to one knee in front of him. "What can I do for you?"
With Rei's power now residing within him, having reshaped his soul, Vali was completely subservient, unable to resist any of Rei's wishes. It was akin to how Primal Beasts always followed Rei's commands without question.
"Kill this insect so he can stop screaming," Rei ordered, pointing at Kokabiel, who was still writhing and screaming in agony.
"Yes!" Vali responded without hesitation. He stopped kneeling and turned toward Kokabiel, eyes devoid of any emotion.
Vali began to gather energy into his left palm, focusing his newfound power. A sphere of light, glowing white and purple, formed in his hand, swirling with immense power.
"Erase," Vali muttered coldly, before hurling the orb at Kokabiel.
The light sphere quickly enveloped Kokabiel's body. As it made contact, the Fallen Angel began to disintegrate, starting from his feet and moving upward. His screams were finally silenced as his form was gradually erased from existence.
Vali's and Albion's abilities had evolved. They no longer merely halved or stole half of their opponent's power—now, they had the terrifying ability to fully erase a being from existence and fully stealing someone power.
