The trees rustled, wind blew furiously across the little cottage, the clouds became dark, it was as if it would soon start to rain.
Shem sat leg crossed on the bare grass outside the cottage, in the middle of the trees few meters into the wood muffling under his breath, a spell from the book.
He was practising a spell to control the weather but as usual, his every attempt result into one misrake or another.
He stood up, the atmosphere became clear, he took the book and headed back to the cottage calling it a day.
On his way, he noticed a strange presence, he paused for a little while looking around
"Who's there!" He asked not sounding scared at all "show your self and stop hiding like a coward"
Then the atmosphere changed, everything in his path became still and he turned back.
He saw a woman on black long hood that covered her face standing beside a big oak tree
"You're here? Why have you grace my sanctuary with your unholy present" Shem asked already armed with magic in case she does anything funny
"I came with a warning from the above, don't bit what you can't chew" she said distortedly "Back down or face her wrath"
Shem laughed mockingly and said with utmost courage,
"Tell mother mayhem that I refuse to back out, and her defeat is nile because I won't give up Zack without a fight"
"You are playing with fire" she said and begin to fade away, "don't say I did not warn you." And she vanished
Shem stood still for a while before going back to his usual spot to continue practising.

I turned on the light as soon as Lila and I entered. The place was still arranged from last time, I remembered Tesla cleaning up before she left, but it was a bit dusty, as no one had called it home for about three months.
I sat on the couch, reminiscing about the past. We had so much fun here; who knows how things could suddenly change overnight?
"The place is nice," Lila commented as she went to the kitchen to see if there was any beer still in the fridge. To her dismay, there was none, everything in the fridge had expired.
"Erm... Zack," she called from the kitchen, "I think we need a new, everything."
I sighed and stood up. Turning to her, I said,
"I'll see to that tomorrow. Right now, let's do some dusting."
She sighed and went back to the kitchen to grab a brush and began cleaning. I took a duster to clean the furniture before heading to my room.
As I entered, I was flooded with memories of that day—the day we broke up. I could still hear Tesla's voice saying,
"How could you? I trusted you, I loved you!" and then, "... It's over; you and I are done."
A shiver ran down my spine as I dropped my sword on the bed and sat down on a nearby stool. "Why did all this happen?" I asked myself, trying to hold back the tears.
After a while, I stood up and began to clean the room. I found an old picture of Tesla and me from one of our dates.
Looking at the picture, I smiled. I never thought I could love her this way. I dusted it off and placed it on the side table. Then, Thail's voice echoed in my head:
You can make it up to me by making up with her. You had a nice life out there, don't let Zhebel take that away from you.
Even at her dying breath, she wanted me to be happy. I decided then that I would find Tesla, no matter what.
After cleaning up the house, we ordered some food and drinks. Night came, and I offered Lila the room while I stayed on the couch in the living room.

After learning about the truth behind Clovets death, Ferda found it hard to sleep, she sat on a small stool beside the window as she watched with tears in her eyes Lolly sleeping peacefully.
Bia hadn't said a word to any of them, she was quiet all through crying.
On the other hand, Jerry who was unable to eat began to clear the table, he was saddened, he didn't know what to do anymore or what to think and he didn't even know where I was.
When he was done, he went to his room drowned with guilt, he had apologised to Bia and the girls but none of them weren't in the mood for an apology.
By 2am the next day, there was a light knock at the girls room which alerted Ferda immediately then the door opened and Bia came in.
She was with her luggage and on seeing this, Ferda stood up. Looking at her mother in surprise, she asked
"Mum? What's going on?"
The fright in her voice woke Lolly up, she sat upright without uttering a word as she looked at them.
"We're leaving" Bia replied almost in a whisper as she urge them to pack their things too "I can't risk loosing anyone of you again"
After packing, they slowly crept to the front door with the intention of leaving unnoticed but were stopped by Jerry, who was already at the door on his knees, begging them to stay. Despite his pleas, Ferda watched in awe as her family crumbled.
